Usage & Limits

Overview​

TokenTimer tracks usage at two levels: organization and workspace. Organization usage summarizes all your admin-owned workspaces (admin role). Workspace usage focuses on the currently selected workspace. Use these views to forecast needs and avoid hard caps.

  • What counts: successful alert deliveries (by channel), token totals, and membership/workspace totals.
  • Reset cadence: delivery counters reset monthly (UTC).
  • Alerts: you'll be warned at 80% of a limit to prevent surprises.

Organization usage (admin)​

Admins can view aggregated counts across their organization: number of workspaces, members, tokens, and monthly deliveries. Each metric shows current usage vs. plan limits.

  • Workspaces: count vs. plan limit (∞ on Team).
  • Members: organization members vs. plan limit (∞ on Team).
  • Tokens: total tokens across all admin workspaces.
  • Deliveries: monthly alert deliveries (resets the first day of each month).

Workspace usage​

Inside a workspace, you see token counts and monthly deliveries by channel. Managers and admins see this section; viewers see read-only token data.

  • Tokens: count within the selected workspace.
  • Deliveries: monthly successes by channel.
  • Troubleshooting: spikes without matching token growth may indicate tighter thresholds or frequent post-expiry reminders.

Plan limits​

Plans define hard caps for workspaces, members, tokens, and alert deliveries per month. The canonical numbers for every quota are in Plan limits.
